I live in New Jersey (zone 7). I have some tulip bulbs that I did not plant in the fall. They still appear to be pretty firm and they do not have any mold. They have been in my unheated garage all winter in mesh bags. If I plant them in the ground now, will they survive? I don't care if they bloom this year, I just wasn't sure if I had to wait until fall before i plant them. I dont have a dark place to put them in the summer months, so I figured I would just get them in the ground and hope they bloom next year.
Any advice wold be appreciated.
