Do your kids keep a treasure box?
it was kind of fun today i was helping my daughter clean out her closset when I saw a wooden box decorated with rainbows (she docrated it when she was 5 and showed me all the stuff she has collected since then (now shis 16) but it was fun she had kept all kinds of stuff:
letters of recomendation,awards, notes from friends
first concert ticket
picture of her dog
snake skin, arrow heads, shark tooth, dead cicada, coins she dug up, rocks with crystals in them, and then even her first hiar extension and her wisdom teeth. And a pony tail of her which she recently cut off.
do your kid store away their tresures? what do they keep?

Both of my older children have treasure boxes.
My daughter keeps odd things that she finds that are heart shaped-a leaf, a rock, etc. She also has some pictures, notes, jewelry, stickers, and small toys. She has money in there as well-$2 bills, foreign change, and 'odd' money. She is 11 years old.
My son has some cars that his father and uncle gave him (Hot Wheels/ Matchbox/ Tonka), sharks teeth, rocks, foreign and other money, etc. He is 8 years old.
I am thinking about doing a time capsule for our family. I think it would be wonderful!
