Video Critique?
First horse (chestnut) is mine, he is VERY hot and VERY sensitive. This is at my C3 mounted prep. He was deemed unsuitable as a switch horse, so I unfortunately had to find another horse to use for the rating. Anyway, keep in mind he is hot, tense, and smart! The second horse (bay) is a switch ride, a 20-something year old TB that was as stiff as a board. I needed spurs, badly!

The chestnut needs 60 days walk/trot/halt - working on long and low, transitions and lots of change of direction. It looks like you are trying to put him in a frame, but you are trying to 'force' him into having his head down when he is not balanced enough or relaxed enough to really use his back.
Your hands are flat and to far apart - you need to have thumbs up and over his whithers. Keep your hands quieter - all that head tossing is from him getting jerked in the mouth. He is tense and doesn't know exactly what you want - he also cannot physically go into a frame at this stage of his training.
With the mare, your hands were much more quiet, but still completely wrong - flat and to low. Pick them up and put your thumbs up. Also sit back a bit more and really use your seat and leg to ask her to step out.
You seat and leg look good, but you don't look like you are using your leg as much as you could. Overall, you look like a decent rider, but in need of some more experience and training.
