Tv color is messed up in two corners?
In the top right corner and the bottom left corner, the color shows up... differently. LIke if its red, it shows up purple. Other wise things show up green. On dark backgrounds, like brown or black, you dont even notice at all. Its not opaque or anything, its transparent. You can see through the color, its just messed up. We recently moved and it wasnt like that before the move or even after. We used to have the tv on 24/7 on the aux channel for about 6 months. Its not a plasma or anything so the image never burned. It was mainly my fiances fault, I told him to turn it off. But for the first week and a half we were here, the tv was fine. Now suddenly its weird. Its a little distracting, but not too much. What could be wrong? I dont think there could be any magnets in the room. Its sitting on a bookcase full of old vhs's, recorded and regular. Sometimes it gets worse the longer the tv is on, like now its running across the top of the tv. What should we do? D:
Disconnect the TV from its power source and leave overnight. Providing the internal degaussing circuit is working properly the TV should demagnetize itself when you plug it back in and turn it on in the morning. If not, you will need to have it manually demagnetized with a commercial degaussing coil. These are available at Radio Shack in the states, probably a similar vendor in the UK.
