I have an standard LCD monitor with svga input. I want to use it to display pictures (i.e. like one of those digital photo frames you can buy) but don't want to use a computer or laptop.

So, what other devices are available to show photos on a svga monitor? I have seen an mp4 player on eBay and a device that works from a hard disk but both were higher than I want to pay (max £30)

So, is there a cheaper mp4 player with vga output out there or is there a memory card reader or memory stick with (s)vga output either directly or via a simple adapter? Or anything else? I can't believe nobody else is looking for something like this - have you seen the price of digital photo frames?
