Great System???

Well I have to 12inch Rockford P3's and a JL1400D amp in my chevy 1500 and it sounds good but I want something amazing something that will bump really hard, And also how much should I sell the P3's for? there in a OBCON competition box and are about 4 months old and are in perfect cond.

something that sounds amazing is hard to do in a truck. reason being you dont have a lot of room. thats puts woofers like the W7 and Solo X outta the picture. there are still lots of great woofers left though, no worries.

your p3's were either in a sealed 0.85 cubic foot box or a sealed box, or 1.3 cubic feet for a ported box.

seeing as though i have no idea which type of box you had, i'm going to recomend a woofer that needs a even 1.0 cubic feet, in a sealed box. it will sound amazing and hit harder and be louder then the p3's.

that woofer is the Boston Acoustics G5. i'd recomend 2 of them. here is a link, and you can usually find a pair on ebay for about $400. this is one of the best sounding woofers i have ever heard. plust each woofer has 2 mm more xmas then your p3's. total xmas for both would be 28mm. plus they have 450 rms each, meaning your amp now should power them just fine.
