When you buy a pendant from Tiffany and Company does it come with the chain?

This will be my first time buying anything from Tiffany and Co. I want to get my best friend a pendant necklace for her wedding gift. I'm just not sure if the pendant comes with a chain. With them being so expensive I wouldn't want to buy a chain separately to find out it comes with one, and their website is vague when it comes to that.
I know I could buy the pendant somewhere else but there's just something special about opening up a turquoise tiffany box.
