Learning bongo drums at home?
Hey,
I'd like to learn to play the bongos. But I live in an apartment block and don't want to get evicted due to noise pollution. Is there way to silence or dampen the bongo drums?
Also, is this something I can learn myself from instruction booklet, or should I find a teacher?
I'm actually seriously intested in a hang drum (a mini steel drum it seems), but I think bongo drums are the way to get the skills to play a hang drum.

Practice reflexology and wrist technique on a silenced snare pad or tom pad for a drum kit, or place a pillow inside the bongo.
You don't need noise to practice your technique.
