Can I add more metal flake to a single stage paint?

I've never spayed single stage before.

Coming from a painter, yes. You can add as much as you want just make sure your nozzle tip size is big enough first. If it a siphon fed gun you can put a Marble in the can and use it as an agitator for the flake. A clear coat is always recommended though
