Average size wave for a british surf who is 14?
hi I am 14 and i am a sponsered surfer, last summer i was out in 15ft surf on a longboard. I was on the main peak and stuff catch loads of double over heads, and a few triples. Loads of the other guys out there like the surf school instructers who shred, and james parry-longboarding champ said i was charging. I was thinking last night "how many other 14 year olds surf 15ft waves?". All my surfer friends who most are sponsered said that there biggest is like 9ft, im talking about actually riding the wave. I have being out in bigger, but not caught bigger. Anyone think that its rare, especially in cornwall were the sweel is either flat or big, andim 14.
There are not a ton of guy your age that can surf waves like that. If you're paddling out in swell that big you should be stoked. Not too many guys longboard waves that big either. Keep up the good work and maybe we will be seeing you in the magazines soon.
