would it kill my hamster if i played music in my car with loud base?
my girlfriend got me a hamster about 2 weeks ago.
once i get my car back from the body shop, i plan to go visit her. however she lives about a 100 miles away. yes, long drive.
i drive a japanese import vehicle with heavy modifications done to it. And one of the modifications includes custom subwoofers with dual-powered amps of 1200 watts. that's a lot of base which means a lot of rattling.
now i know all that base is not good for your heart, but i'm not worried about that.
my girlfriend wants me to bring the hamster when i visit her, but driving for 2 hours, i need my music. Would playing loud music with loud base kill the hamster or harm it in anyway?
(i'm not talking about crazy ear-drum bursting loud base, just enough to feel your back shaking when u play music)
and please i dont need any "just dont play any music"
i can figure that on my own. i just want to know if there will be any harmful effects on the hamster.
thanks very much all.
Hamsters are prone to heart attacks, and loud music culd stress your little hamster and kill it, if you plan to play music, don't have it very loud, just enough for background noise, put your hamster on a seat with the seatbelt around it, where he can't be bounced around and drape a towel over it, this will keep any drafts off of him and shield him from some of the music. Make sure when traveling he will have a lot of bedding, this can stress him out to the point he gets sick and ends up with wettail.
