How to make custom graphics for PowerPoint?
PowerPoint's selection of charts, diagrams and shapes is very limited, yet I see custom graphics (such as a product life cycle arrow chart) on business presentations. What is the best way to make my own (for my business)? Do most businesses purchase them, or are they simple enough to create using InDesign or Photoshop?
A couple thoughts...
Have you looked at PowerPoint's clipart? Be sure it is set to include Web Collections. There are some amazing things there, such as fancy life cycle arrows and it includes photos! And it's free.
Also, PowerPoint 2007 makes everything look gorgeous - the effects are often nicer and easier than using Photoshop.
