Many USA Creationists want Creation Science taught in biology classes. But after defining it, what next?
I'm not trying to criticize anyone nor provoke a debate about Creationism versus Evolution. I'm simply asking what one would teach in a biology class if one were to give Creation Science "equal time".
I understand why Creationists believe that Creationism should be explained in biology classes when evolution is covered. But beyond a few minutes spent defining Creationism and perhaps looking at the history of Creationism beliefs -- and perhaps covering the Creationist beliefs of Carl Linneaus and his taxonomy -- what would the course outline look like?
I've met people who are lobbying for "equal time" for Creation Science in the classroom -- but nobody has been able to explain to me what they would do with the allotted time if they were given large blocks of time in biology class. (Evolution naturally leads one to a great many relevant topics but could that be true of Creation Science??)
There is no such thing as "creation science" dear. "Creation" is part of bronze age middle eastern goat herders fairy tale. It's not even a hypotheses. It therefore has nothing to do in biology classes. I can be mentioned in mythology and fairy tales classes of course.
